It is with great excitement that we have managed to export a Dorset Down Ram Lamb to FRANCE, the first to go across the channel in nine years. This ram lamb has done well at shows this summer and is sired by our stock ram, who recently won ‘Best Individual Ram’ in the South West Dorset Down Flock Competition (see November’s news). He has gone to join the flock of Christopher and Sarah Long in Normandy and will hopefully help to refresh the Dorset Down gene pool in France.
