August has been a very busy month for us, so I will summarise it briefly for you…
Honiton Show saw our Stock ram ‘Bond’ and his daughter do very well in large classes of strong exhibits.
Our hens won best eggs at the Village Show!
At Melplash Show ‘Bond’ performed well again to take Breed Champion. For the full results of the last shows, please see our show results page.
Looking ahead, September brings our favourite show the Dorset County on the 5th and 6th so do come and see us there, we will be taking 17 sheep so it will definitely be all hands on deck.
We have had some of our lovely fleeces professionally washed and carded, so we are now able to offer carded Dorset fleeces for only £4.00 per 100g. Like usual we will post it to anywhere at cost price.
