News for November and December 2016

Tupping is now over and hopefully all the ewes are now in lamb, with the first ones due from the 25th of February.

We are very pleased that we have been awarded 3rd place in the ‘Large Flock’ category of the Dorset Down Sheep Breeders Association South West flock competition for 2016 against some stiff competition. In the last two years our main stock ram ‘Bond’ has also been awarded 1st and 3rd prizes in the ‘Best Individual Ram’ category of this competition, and this year he has completed the line up by coming 2nd, only beaten by his son, a four-tooth ram bred by us but now owned by Richard Holloway. Pictured are some of our four-tooth ewes, sired by Bond and sisters to the 1st placed ram.

Our next batch of sheepskin rugs have arrived just in time for Christmas. They make fantastic rugs to snuggle up on by the fire or bedside rugs, or as baby playmats, buggy liners, or pet beds. The white ones are priced at £55 each and we also have a few coloured ones at £65-£75 each. Come and choose one, or we can post out to you. See our Sheepskin Rug page for more details.

We wish everyone a Happy Christmas and New Year and hope to see you back in the New Year.
