The rams have now gone in with the ewes and the cycle is starting again. This year we have just over 100 ewes to breed from, so fingers crossed we will get a good crop of lambs next March, especially from our new younger ram who is working for the first time this year.
We are also pleased to announce we have won the Novice Category in the Dorset Down Sheep Breeders Association South West annual on farm flock competition, achieving 210 points out of a possible 240 on the score cards.
Raw Fleeces are still selling well, but stocks are beginning to reduce, order yours now to avoid disappointment over the winter months when you need to make those woolly items to keep warm! If you want some fresh lamb we are taking orders now for the regular batches that will be available over the coming months.
