Yeovil Show provided us with a 1st place and Down Breed Reserve Champion for our Dorset Down Stock Ram ‘406’, then we took 1st with an older ewe and 1st with a pair of ewes along with a few seconds and thirds. Yeovil Show also saw the debut of Beatrice to the showing world in the friendliest sheep class, with her Dorset Down Ewe ‘Bluebell’.
We have Honiton, Melplash and Dorset County shows coming up so do come and see us at these shows if you can.
Fleeces are selling fast so make sure you are stocked up before they go! Elsewhere on the farm we are weaning lambs, scanning lambs for the Signet Recording program and trying to keep up with the everyday tasks!
